My, how the summer is flying by! There are still many opportunities to get involved, however. Here's a quick summary of what our calendar looks like for the coming month:
- July 18-20: Huckleberry Creek trail repair with WTA: July 18, July 19, or July 20
- July 19: Soundscape Monitoring Project information session
- July 19: Revegetation and Exotics Removal with the Mount Rainier National Park Associates
- July 22: SCA Alumni Project
- July 23-26: Stevens Canyon Wonderland Trail reroute
- July 26-27: Wilderness First Aid training
- July 29: Soundscape Sherpa to Van Trump Park (one of my favorite places at Mount Rainier)
- August 1-3: White River Entrance trail repair with WTA: August 1, August 2, or August 3
- August 8-10: White River Entrance trail repair with WTA: August 8, August 9, or August 10
- August 23: Revegetation Team Project
- September 7-14: Wilderness First Responder training

It's a nice mix of trail work, science, restoration, and training. Now that the snow is finally beginning to melt at the higher elevations, watch for even more projects to be posted soon!
